Education as an Instrument of Public Policy: A Perspective on the Key to Economic Growth and Social Progress
Abstract: Despite the widely recognised excellence at the higher education level in the United States, education is not being used aggressively as an instrument of public policy to foster economic growth and social progress. This notes provides a perspective on such a policy and a suggested course.
